TOUR DESCRIPTION
Day
1: Lima
Arrival. Reception and meeting with our
representative. Transfer to the hotel in Lima. Lima city
tour in the afternoon or evening depending on arrival time.
Day
2: Lima – Pisco (Ballestas Islands)- Ica
Early morning departure. Car
trip to Pisco. In the morning boat tour to the Ballestas
Islands. Bike tour across the Paracas wildlife reserve. In
the afternoon continue by car to Ica to the hotel. Visit to
a local traditional winery.
Day
3: Nazca: Flight over the Nazca Lines)
In the morning car trip to Nasca. Flight
over the Nasca Lines. In the afternoon bike tour to visit
the archaeological sites in the outskirts of Nasca. Evening
open. Overnight in a local hotel
Day
4: To Majes
Car trip to Majes along the Southern
Panamerican Highway. On the way stop to visit the Sacaco
fossilized whales deposit and at Puerto Inka lodge for lunch
and to visit the ancient fishing settlement that was the
supply source of fresh fish to the Inka emperor. Evening
arrival in a local hotel in Majes.
Day 5: Majes: Toro Muerto.
To Colca
In the morning visit to the Toro Muerto
extensive petroglyphs deposit. Lunch at the traditional
restaurant Punta Colorada, serving fresh water shrimps based
meals. Afternoon car trip to Colca canyon, arriving at the
first town Cabanaconde in the night.
Day
6: Colca Canyon: Cruz del condor
Car trip to Cruz del Condor to watch
condors flying around. Nice bike ride along Colca canyon to
Yanque. Stay here for lunch, and hot spring swimming pool.
Overnight in a delightful basic local lodge.
Day
7: To Arequipa. Full day in Arequipa
Early departure. Car trip to Arequipa.
Arrival at 9am. Lunch in a local restaurant to taste the
delicious Arequipa’s cuisine. Afternoon Arequipa city
tour. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day
8: To Puno
Car trip to Puno 6 hours. Visit Sillustani pre inca settlement. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day
9: Lake Titikaka: Uros and Amantani islands
Boat trip to visit the Uros floating
islands and Amantani island. Overnight in a local family
house in the island.
Day
10: To Cusco
Return to Puno. Car trip to Cusco. Visit
some towns on the way: Pukara, Racchi, etc. Cusco arrival in
the evening overnight in a local hotel.
Day
11: Cusco
Morning open. Afternoon Cusco city tour.
Evening open. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day
12: Cusco - Ollantaytambo
Transfer to Chinchero. Bike ride along the Sacred Valley of
the Inkas, passing by Huaypo Lagoon, Moray terraces, Maras
salt mines, Urubamba village and finally Ollantaytambo.
Overnight in a local lodge.
Day
13: Ollantaytambo - Abra Malaga - Santa María
Transfer
to the summit at Abra Málaga (4,350 ma.a.s.l.). Downhill
ride along the Convención valley toward jungle territory.
Rest stop for lunch at Carrizales. Visit Wamanmarka
archaeological site. Arrive Santa María (1,130 m.a.s.l.)
about 5pm. Overnight in a local lodge.
Day
14: Santa María - Santa Teresa
Hiking
along inka trail, about 8 hours. Rest stop at the thermal
hot springs in Santa Teresa. Overnight in a local lodge.
Day
15: Santa Teresa - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes.
Hiking 5
hours, visit Intiwatana archaeological site. Overnight in a
local lodge at Aguas Calientes.
Day
16: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Hiking 1 hour to
Machu Picchu. 2 hours Guided tour, rest of time at Machu
Picchu open. Train trip to return to Cusco. Hotel in
Cusco
Day
17: 1st day Puerto Maldonado
Transfer to airport. Flight Cusco – Pto.
Maldonado. Rest at the Puerto Maldonado Lodge. 4 hours
river boat transfer to the Jungle Lodge at the Primary Zone
of the Tambopata Wildlife Reserve. Accomodation at the
lodge. Evening trek to the jungle.
Day 18: 2nd day
Puerto Maldonado
Early trek before down to
the parrot clay lick on the banks of the
River Gato. After breakfast relax time in the surroundings
of the lodge, good for fishing or swim in a nearby
waterfall. After lunch 1 hour journey further up the River
Tambopata into the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park. Arrive at
the Chuncho Collpa site in the late afternoon and camp set
up on the river beach. Unique real jungle live experience.
Day 19: 3rd day
Puerto Maldonado
Early wake up at dawn to watch, hear and
feel jungle wildlife in the first few hours after sunrise.
After breakfast follows a brief jungle trek and return to
the Jungle Lodge for a Ethno botanical trek. Lunch. Free
open afternoon for relaxing, fishing, swimming or walk to
visit a local native community. Dinner. Evening boat tour
to watch caimans in the night.
Day
20: 4th day Puerto Maldonado
Breakfast. Return trip to the Puerto
Maldonado Lodge. Lunch. Afternoon canoe trip and trek
through the forest to Lake Sandoval. Dinner at the lodge.
Day
21: Flight to Lima
Transfer to the airport. Flight to Lima.
Transfer to the hotel.in Lima
Day 22: Depart Lima
Transfer to the airport.

In your tour includes:
Inka trail: The reservation must be done
minimum 90 days prior to arrival date with 50% payment. The
rest must be paid 15 days before arrival date.
Jungle Puerto Maldonado: The reservation
must be done minimum 45 days prior to arrival date with 50%
payment. The rest must be paid 15 days before arrival date.
Cancellations
Reservations cancelled 30 days before the
first day of the tour will be fully refunded less money
transfer and bank fees.
Reservations cancelled less than 30 days
before the first day of the tour will be refunded less 30% +
money transfer and bank fees.
No show is 100% not refunded.
Baggage
Due to limited space in the 4x4 vehicle,
boats, train, etc. only 1 medium size bag per person is
allowed. If the customer requires to bring more baggage its
can be stored or forwarded to the next destinations whether
suits the best.
Liability
Cicloturismo Perú won’t assume any
liability due to additional costs, damages, looses or any
other unfavourable issues (for persons or goods) caused by
delays and cancellations of transport services, bad weather,
social or political disorders or any other unexpected
circumstance.

guide available along the whole 23 days tour. Certified
experienced guide trained in quality customer service,
emergency management operations and first aid.

considered are in good quality standard class and superior
class hotels with private bathroom, permanent hot water.
Breakfast included. Accommodation is on double occupancy
basis.
Places in which accommodation is in basic
local lodges, local families houses or camp according with
travel plan: Yanque in Colca canyon, Amantani island in Lake
Titikaka, Lares in Cusco, Inka Trail, Aguas Calientes near
Machu Picchu, Jungle in Puerto Maldonado.

For permanent communication along the way nation wide range
cellular phone operating where signal is available. For
emergency communication from remote locations the 4x4
vehicle is equipped with HF radiocommunication equipment in
case telephone is not available.
Safety: The
route is safe but in case of an accident, emergency or
unexpected situation arises, the guide is trained in
emergency management operations with a priority command on
customers safety and well being. This includes immediate
evacuation to a safe place, transfer by the fastest and
safest way to the nearest hospital and organize the best
solution according with the facing issue.
Special health care:
in case a customer requires special health care we are in
condition to help or provide whatever would be necessary.
The special health care information should be provided in
advance. Yellow Fever vaccination is required 10 days
before to enter the jungle areas.
24/7
Services
24 hours / 7 days services are
guaranteed. The guide escorts the customers on a permanent
basis along the whole tour and the support from the
organization is also permanent, by this way the services
provided by others to the customers are supervised by us,
including advice about best places to eat, shopping, money
exchange, legal issues, etc.. We don’t transfer the
customers to third party companies and let them alone. A 24h
hot line is available. The guide and all our staff are
permanent members of our organization with expertise in all
the procedures involved and related with the services
provide by us and others. The tour group is permanently
tracked and the guide submits a daily report.

A full set of photos and videos of the
trip will be recorded and distributed to the customers.

of technical wicking polyester to efficiently move moisture

removable legs pants, 2 pairs of low profile breathable
light hiking shoes or running shoes, a raincoat, sunglasses,
hat, swimsuit, a sweatshirt and a warm polarfleece
lightweight jacket. Biking gloves. Insect repellent, high
factor sunscreen, personal medication, water bottle,
binoculars, head flashlight and rechargeable batteries and
charger, pocket knife, and a camera with plenty of film or
